Your initial burn will determine the candle's lifespan. Ideally, you should burn your candle to where the top is completely melted about 1/8"-1/4" deep. That sets up your wax memory for the remainder of the wax, and future burns should mimic its melt rate.
Candles should only be burned for up to 4 hours at a time. If burned longer than 4 hours, several problems may occur: (1) the candle container can become too hot and crack/break, (2) the candle wick can curl, which results in burning at a hotter than normal temperature, (3) candle lifespan may be reduced, (4) soot may form around the edge of the candle container.
Trimming your candle wick to 1/8"-1/4" before relighting your candle will allow your burn to be at a safe temperature. Not trimming your wick could cause the burn to be hotter than normal as well as wick debris to fall into the candle wax.

We utilize the most state of the art machinery to product our products - including: stainless steel carrying vessels, pouring and filling machines, as well as mixing and batching machines.
Shipping & Returns
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If you received a product that is defective, please contact Smithica customer service.
All orders are shipped from Austin, TX.
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
For orders placed within the Continental United States, we use: USPS and UPS.
For orders placed outside of the Continental United States, we use: DHL, USPS, and UPS.
We cannot forecast how long our shipping partners will need to deliver your order. We offer several options for expedited shipping.
For International Shipping, taxes and tariffs are NOT included with your order. You will be required to pay all taxes and tariffs upon shipment.
